On a recent local gear test hike, the weather was mostly wet (but warm) and pictures were few. The gear test itself will be written up shortly as the gear now has >50miles of experience. Regardless, the day was slim on humans, so some friends made their way out and about.
There were three deer this morning. I think (hard to tell given their size) the one pictured was the mother (her first season of babies) and the other two which were slightly smaller and hidden in the bushes were her fawns – all grown up and ready to go out on their own.
While the weather was wet, both rain jackets remained in backpack, and the camera came out and went back in with the rain drops.
