Water, sky and friends around the lake

After the baby geese first showed their fuzzy faces, the weather turned for the better with clear skies and warmer temperatures – mostly. Sunrises were mostly spectacular and babies grew up. Other animals were still forging for as much food as possible before their babies came. The swan didn’t seem too concerned with some stranger in a kayak early in morning.

With the lake still very cold and skies clear, the play between the sun and water put on a show almost every day.

Even walking through the farms around the lake sunrises and moonsets were spectacular. While the airplanes in the sky leave huge plumes of poisonous gas, their traces can be beautiful.

  • I am trying to move a couple of these to the Stone Lake page, no one has ever taken early AM pictures like these!
